Maplewood Stables invites you and your family to participate in Maplewood's 2008 Summer Camp Program.
Each summer Maplewood Stables offers one of the top horse camps in the region. 2008 brings new and exiting changes to our summer camp program. We will be offering 4 weeks of day camp, each week with a different focus. We will be offering two weeks of English Riding, one of Western Riding and Trail Rides, and one for Novice Jumping.
A week of fun-filled and rewarding horse activities awaits you. If you are dreaming of a future which includes horses in competition, or just looking for a fun way to spend the summer learning about horses Maplewood Stables is the place to be in Northern Nevada. This year Maplewood instructors will continue to teach children ages 8-17 top notch safety skills, horsemanship, and of course correct, balanced riding. Maplewood's passion is teaching you the fundamentals that are so essential to a successful riding career. Top quality equipment and mounts are provided for all participants.
All instructors are experienced and qualified to instruct riders of all ages. Wendy Jaksick, our Riding School Director and an ARIA certified instructor will be heading our Summer Camp in 2008.
Cost
Full day camp 10:00 am to 3:00 pm: $550 per week
Space is limited. $100 deposit will hold your camper's space.

Programs
June 25-29 - Beginner/Intermediate English Riding Camp
Includes daily riding lessons and swimming.
July 7-11 - Beginner/Intermediate Riders with focus on Trail Rides and Western Riding
Includes daily swimming on certain days.
July 14-17 - Novice Jumping Camp
Students must be able to jump cross rails and canter. Classroom instruction on equitation prior to daily lessons and swimming included.
August 11-15 - Beginner/Intermediate English Riding Camp
Includes daily riding lessons and swimming.
- All camps will have a horse show on the final day as well as a family bbq.
- Maplewood and Galena Equestrian Students awards banquet will be Sunday, August 17 at Montreux Golf and Country Club Poolside. Mark your calendar now!!
